I hold an assumption that understanding the contexts of your life is integral in getting to know you, the problems that you are up against, and the knowledges you have come to in spite of those challenges. My practice is built on fostering an environment of collaboration vs. prescriptive one size fits all solutions. I would describe my work as conversations of possibility that are non-pathologizing. I do not adhere to a singular understanding of health, but rather embrace the multiplicity, nuance, and uniqueness of each person’s lived and embodied experience. This literally makes it possible for me to listen from a place of earnest curiosity, and opens the door for both imagination and collaboration to happen between us. I believe that without these elements, change is just a generic promise that leaves the person out of its equation. I have a special interest in talking with creative people practicing in all mediums and capacities whether art is your profession or something
