Seeking therapy can be daunting, and the process to find the right therapist can take time. I strive to provide an empathetic and warm environment for my clients, working with a culturally sensitive approach in mind. Building a therapeutic relationship is important, so I invite you to book an assessment with me to determine if I am the right fit for you. I work from a person-centered approach and prefer to spend the first two sessions getting to know my client's background, pertinent life experiences, and what brought them to therapy. In the first assessment session, I will ask my client questions about their presenting issues, upbringing, medical and behavioral history, support systems, pertinent life experiences, existing coping skills, and past experiences with seeking therapy.
