Many of our problems stem from unrealistic expectations of ourselves. We demand too much from ourselves, from the people around us, and from the world. This makes our life unbearably heavy due to living our life based on "musts and a lot of should". We end up chronically dissatisfied, disappointed, and feeling isolated because guess what? We are living a life based on ideals instead of what is real, a life that looks in the past and the future instead of what is in the now, a life that asks for more instead of being contented with that we have. I become their partner in exploring their reality and help them come to terms with who they are, what they are, and what their reality is. I am informed by Eastern and Western philosophies, Depth/Jungian Psychology, and wisdom from indigenous cultures.
