Hello and welcome! Congratulations for making such an important choice for yourself. My job is to help you explore what is causing you distress and and how I can help with getting you relief. If this is your first time in therapy you may have a lot of questions: "is something wrong with me, should I just not think about it, how can talking about my feelings help, will I be judged, can I really feel comfortable sharing my true thoughts..." I get it. Together we will build a "natural home" where you can cry, laugh, and be heard. We all benefit from having someone to share our feelings with in a safe and trusting relationship.
