Many people are constrained in their relationships as a result of the meanings they make of their life experiences. Therapy is an opportunity to tell their stories in the safety of a non-judgmental therapeutic environment. I am a process consultant who understands that the client is the expert in their own lives and encourage the client’s active participation in the therapeutic process. I am intentional about demonstrating cultural humility by allowing my clients to express their cultural experiences and teach me the nuances. As a systemic thinker, I believe that the behaviors of individuals are influenced by generational patterns. I am helpful with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relational issues, adjustment disorders. My treatment methods are based on the client’s presenting problems and the most beneficial evidence-based therapeutic technique. I also welcome and encourage those who wish to incorporate biblical principles into their healing process.
