Many of my clients come to treatment because their mental health has started to impact their functionality at home or at work. Often, they've just tried working harder to compensate but this leads to a vicious cycle of burnout. It's ultimately not about working to achieving a goal. It's about the processes of exploring who you really are, seeking authenticity, & going beyond your emotional comfort zone. Maybe this means increasing your self care and coping skills. Or, if needed, I am trained in conducting evaluations for workplace accommodations or disabilities due to mental illness for FMLA and temporary disability insurance.
