About
Hi! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Gallaudet University. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I would describe my own as warm, caring, non-judgmental, compassionate, sensitive, respectful, knowledgeable, experienced and committed. I’ve been using CBT in my practice. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life. What to Expect in Our First Session Safe & Supportive Space – A welcoming environment to share your thoughts and feelings. Introduction to My Approach – I’ll explain how I work and what you can expect in therapy. Getting to Know You – We’ll talk about your background, including family, relationships, and life experiences.
