I am so thankful that the stigma about mental health and therapy is lessening, and more people are talking comfortably about mental health. My area of specialty is working with adults on issues involving anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also have experience and enjoy working with teens. I bring to therapy sessions as an empathic listener using an eclectic approach as a generalist using client-centered, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal processing, motivational interviewing, relational therapy, solution-focused and systemic interventions. I spent 5 years working in a school with kids struggling with emotional and behavioral disorders and through that experience.
