I approach therapy with both a person-centered and cognitive behavioral lens, with the understanding that you are the expert of your story and my role is to be a guide and partner in your healing journey. In sessions, I meet clients with empathy and patience and use a variety of techniques to help you meet your goals and find healing. Coming from a background in recreation therapy, I love being able to help clients reconnect with what lights them up in life, and to find joy and hope along with gaining the skills to better meet and manage life’s challenges. As an licensed alcohol and drug counselor, I specialize in helping those struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns, while also having significant experience in helping manage behavioral concerns and working with adoptees and those involved in the foster care system. I look forward to working collaboratively with clients and tailoring
