I'm a licensed professional clinical counselor in San Diego, CA, working solely with adults online. The clients I'm most able to help all suffered significant trauma wounds during their childhood or teen years, which they never fully felt, processed, grieved, and resolved. As adults, they are burdened by old survival strategies that no longer serve them and by coping mechanisms which blunt pain while blocking growth and change. If you're tired of self-criticism, pessimism, depression, social anxiety, social isolation, and being a people-pleasing chameleon not the real you, I will help you change your life I assist clients to rise from the ashes of trauma and start living a life they find worthwhile, satisfying, enjoyable, connected, and meaningful. I see therapy as a classroom in which trust, safety, empathy, vulnerability, honesty, risking new behaviors, validation, support, encouragement, and constructive feedback play a huge role.
