The process of going through therapy can feel daunting to many, and even just starting may feel like the hardest part. The good news is that you do not have to go through this process alone. I believe that the cornerstone of therapy is the relationship formed between clients and their therapist. An authentic therapeutic relationship is built upon being empathetic, genuine and present with clients. I work through a client-centered framework and incorporate techniques from CBT and DBT to help clients gain insight into themselves and learn new skills that can be applied through life’s many hardships and triumphs. I have experience working with individuals and couples from a range of back grounds and lived experiences as well as first-responders and individuals in healthcare professions. I also have a special focus in working with folks struggling with social isolation, trauma, occupation related stress, and relationship challenges.
