Whether you are looking for support beyond talk therapy for yourself or for your child, help is close at hand. Life changes, problems from the past, and traumatic experiences can throw us and our kids off balance, getting in the way of growth. It is hard to see and feel the hurt but not know what to do. I offer safe, creative, and caring interventions for children, teens, and adults who are facing difficulties with life's challenges (stress, loss, change, trauma) and the related impact on thought patterns, emotional regulation, problematic behaviors, relationship difficulties, and the ability to communicate & cope effectively. As an art therapist and specialist in loss, trauma and resiliency, I utilize creative expression and exploration as well as the mind-body connection from both evidenced based and experiential practices to empower clients to care for themselves in healthy ways, identify and shift self defeating patterns, and problem solve barriers to healing and growth.
