Heather received a Master of Social Work degree from New York University Ehrenkranz School of Social Work and an advanced certificate from Columbia University. Heather has over 20 years of experience as a therapist working with a myriad of polustions. Heather works with adults dealing with chronic illness, depression, anxiety, bereavement, and adjustment issues. She has a strong background in substance abuse issues and believes in a harm reduction perspective. She was trained in psychodynamic theory as well as REBT. She has also utilized CBT in helping clients work through disruptive behaviors/symptomology.
