Often we come into the therapy relationship in pain, confused, and overwhelmed. I strive to create a safe, supportive, environment that focuses on easing the pain while developing greater self-awareness. I have a psychoanalytic perspective that provides the space to explore repetitive patterns, inner conflicts, and past experiences and relationships. In addition, I provide skills-based therapy for additional support. I mainly provide long-term therapy and often meet with clients multiple times a week as many clients find this useful.
