English | 日本語 Hi, I am Hiroko. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Drama Therapist. If you are struggling with depression, social/general anxiety, effects of childhood trauma, low self-esteem, grief and/or other challenges in life, I'm here to help. I have experience of working with a wide range of clients, between the ages of 5 and 101 years old, facing various challenges in life. I feel particularly passionate about supporting and empowering survivors of childhood abuse, who might have felt unheard or silenced for many years. I have specialized training in Drama Therapy, and I might invite you to engage in drama and other expressive arts-based activities if you feel that could be helpful. Sometimes words are just not enough to access and express our internal world—and I strongly believe in the transformative and healing power of symbolic, imaginative, and embodied expressions.
