I have been a mental health counselor for 12 years, and find this line of work so rewarding. I specialize in working with young adults (but my clients include adolescents through older adults) that want to triumph over obstacles in their lives. I will work alongside you to help you overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, relationship concerns, and many other issues that may come along with progressing through the stages of life. With my expertise in mental health, and your expertise on yourself, we will work as a team to get you feeling like the best version of you. I hold licenses in both Illinois and Wisconsin. My counseling approach is integrative, meaning I incorporate techniques from several different theories depending on your personality, treatment goals, and preferences. This allows therapy to be individualized, and strengths-based. I strive to offer an environment that is warm, supportive, free of judgment, and open to everyone interested in making changes.
