I work primarily with women who are navigating the deep and often invisible effects of complex trauma and/or childhood sexual abuse. These experiences have shaped your relationship to your body, boundaries, relationships, intimacy, and pleasure. You may have learned early on to disconnect in order to survive: to stay quiet, agreeable, or strong, and to override your body’s signals because listening didn’t feel safe. Even now, your body may hold fear, numbness, shame, or confusion. You may carry a quiet sense that something is wrong with you, even though you know—somewhere inside—that what happened was not your fault.
