Understanding that we all come from different backgrounds yet share common human experiences and emotions, I use my experience as a resident and practitioner of mindfulness and meditation at Upaya Zen Center. I integrate awareness practices into our therapeutic work, fostering deeper self-awareness and emotional regulation. I enjoy the unique work of counseling children and teenagers as they navigate the various stages of their lives and use play therapy and confidence building to create new perspectives on their lives to help them better understand themselves and find positive direction at the beginning of their life’s journey.
