Sometimes we are successful in getting our needs met, sometimes we are not. Often, we think there is only one way to be. We see and interpret our experiences with the patterns we establish in our early years. These ways of interacting in the world aren't always as effective or helpful as they may have been when we were young. Fortunately, we can change.
