Hello and welcome! My name is Jackie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Vice President of Arena Counseling and Wellness. At Arena, we prioritize providing high-quality services tailored to your unique needs. I believe that our most disrupting behaviors and emotions are actually survival mechanisms that we have developed to deal with emotional pain. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can acknowledge and tolerate the intolerable, fostering insight and self-compassion to regain control of their lives and narratives. I specialize in addressing trauma and core beliefs that contribute to symptoms like disordered eating, self harm, and dissociation. I utilize an eclectic approach of trauma based therapies to help clients recognize and change their patterns and find the self-compassion and the courage needed to heal old wounds, gain insight, and manage their symptoms.
