Oftentimes we find ourselves feeling alone and scared in our suffering. The common human experiences of trauma, depression, anxiety and loss can feel overwhelming and leave us far from who we want to be in life. By using the innate wisdom of emotion, and befriending the different parts of you, we can begin to shift and change those adaptive patterns that keep you distant from yourself and others. The gift of therapy is you don't have to find your way alone. With a warm, curious and compassionate approach, I believe therapy can offer a path from suffering toward healing. As a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFCT) my goal is to help you find greater safety and security in your most important relationship. EFCT is rooted in the belief that emotion is the messenger of love, and healthy relationships not only need, but require, emotional connection and vulnerability to thrive.
