James BarryDrug & Alcohol Counselor, PsyD, LAADC

About

Having previously worked as a music producer/engineer in Los Angeles, guiding musicians, and resolving creative conflict, Dr. Barry holds a Licensed Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor designation, as well as a Doctorate in Psychology. Working at the Betty Ford Center from 2007-2017, Dr. Barry designed Young Adult Programming, Outpatient services, and LGBTQ Integrated programming, and has been a featured speaker on LGBTQ issues for medical students and various professional organizations. In 2018, James joined the DAP Behavioral Health Department, departing DAP in 2020 to engage a private practice.
