Children and teens can sometimes feel like a mystery. Maybe their behaviors are suddenly different, you find yourself arguing more and more or they just don't seem to talk to you anymore. In comes (little ol') me! (Swiftie reference, anyone?). I enjoy working with young people (5 to 18) and their parents to identify mental health challenges and find more balance in the family system. Whether it is your daughter working through some Regina George, Mean Girl behaviors in middle school, or you're noticing your son has turned into Anxiety from Inside Out 2, I'd be honored to help your family bloom into a more cohesive unit. Through my experiences working in a variety of settings, I have a range of knowledge in grief support, anxiety disorders, depression, and behavior issues as well as helping siblings of children with special needs. I don't believe therapy is a one-size-fits-all all, so our approach will be focused in goal setting, collaboration, creativity and play.
