I believe that all beings have the ability for growth, emotional awareness, and healing should we simply offer space to explore our emotional experience in a safe and empowering environment. Utilizing play therapy techniques, my main specialties with children include support through challenges with grief & loss (incl. parental divorce), boundaries & defiance, emotional sensitivity, fears & anxiety, difficulty with transitions, and self-confidence. For teens & young adults, I utilize an emotion-focused and mindfulness-based approach to support with challenges such as anxiety & depression, relationships, self-esteem, and identity. Supporting youth and parents has become my area of focus as I passionately believe that having support in early life is essential to developing resilience, a strong sense of self, emotional awareness, and healthy relationships. Especially in our world today, we all need more support in regulating through challenging times.
