Welcome! I am pleased that you have decided to start the process of investing in your mental health. My name is Jamye Manigault, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the sunny state of Florida. I graduated from Barry University with my Master's in Mental Health Counseling and Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy. I have 10 years of experience in areas such as gender identity, struggles with spirituality, individual, family, marriage, and couples counseling, trauma/ abuse, and mood disorders. Reactions to therapy are as unique as each individual. After your first session you may feel raw and open, relieved, calm, angry or just melancholy. This is completely normal to experience after your first session or even later during the therapeutic process.
