Everyone experiences difficulties in life that influence the way they think about themselves, others, and the future. Unfortunately, these thoughts often go unrecognized, causing significant emotional and psychological pain. As a licensed professional counselor, I utilize cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) techniques and mindfulness strategies to help clients challenge the negative thoughts that lead to distressing emotions, behaviors, and physiological symptoms. I consistently seek to build relationships with clients characterized by empathy and acceptance, understanding that the relationship is most important in empowering clients.
