Have you ever wondered “Why do I feel anxious, insecure, or not good enough? Why am I sad, stressed, angry? Welcome to Safe Haven Counseling. My passion is working with overwhelmed, brave souls who yearn for peace, know they deserve better, and are ready for change. My goal is to provide a compassionate, safe space to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to uncover the root causes of distress, build self-awareness, and develop practical tools for lasting change. Everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. Let's get started. My practice is also LGBTQIA+ friendly. As a LPC and LAC trained in EMDR, IFS, couples therapy (Gottman Level I) and substance use, I use evidence-based techniques to tailor my approach to your needs. I have 25 years experience supporting adults, adolescents, and couples as they work through trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, religious abuse, substance use, and grief and loss.
