It can be difficult to face the stressors of life without the extra weight of mental health challenges. With over 30 years of experience as a therapist, my work is rooted in supporting clients through a wide range of issues which include family addictions, relationships, codependency, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, adoption, and identity exploration. I value a relational and system's perspective, which allows us to look at the various networks involved in one's life and how they have influenced your functioning. I want to help you find the best version of yourself by finding healthy ways to cope and living authentically. My specialty is helping people examine the impact of having a parent(s) who has a substance use disorder and how they can begin to heal from this. We learn a great deal from our families of origin. I help clients explore those thoughts, beliefs and behaviors related to their upbringing and decide how to remove things that are toxic and no longer serve them.
