Dr. Ramos-Acosta will work with you to understand the difficulties you are facing and to find the path to follow so you can function better and increase your well-being and healing. I am licensed in the state of N.Y. with more than 20 years of graduate experience specializing in adult populations and have served in the Military working with all branches to assist in finding calm, internal peace, and a balanced life. I volunteer with Military associations and Critical Incident Response Teams. I have been working with the Office of Mental Health, State Psychiatric Centers for over 20 years in inpatient and outpatient settings. If you are dealing with problems in the areas of anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief and bereavement, Christian counseling, pain management, adjustment disorders, work-life balance, we will work together to instill self-understanding and to learn and adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations through effective psychotherapy methods.
