It has always been a passion of mine to work with underrepresented populations whose needs may often go unnoticed. Having experienced poverty early on in life, I saw how difficulty meeting the basic necessities in life can make it seem like tomorrow may not come. I felt how people will treat you differently because of who they perceive you as and not for who you actually are. These experiences pushed me to become a therapist who will work with all individuals in need of help, regardless of your problem or circumstance.
