The insight, understanding and perspectives that can be gained through therapy can be invaluable to our sense of well being, personal autonomy, and fulfillment. Although I have a generalist clinical practice--meaning I work with men and women who come to treatment for a variety of reasons---I have a special interest in treatment issues related to depression, loss, grief, life cycle transitions, and women's mental health. Other areas of interest include: diminished self esteem, abuse--sexual, physical and emotional, alcohol abuse, and issues related to individuals living with a terminally ill family member.
