I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in New York. I specialize both in treating people with eating disorders and members of the LGBTQI community. I have experience treating people with mood and personality disorders, OCD symptoms, compulsive spending, and survivors of sexual assault. My theoretical orientation is eclectic; largely psychodynamic, greatly influenced by Relational-Cultural, Person-Centered, Positive and Self Psychology. I use CBT and DBT interventions when appropriate. As a team, we can be curious about you together, working towards clarity so that you can make the best decisions and experience greater satisfaction in life. I have a warm disposition that puts my clients at ease and helps them feel safe enough to do the work of therapy. I am empathic and accepting, and do my utmost to provide an assumption-and-bias-free perspective from which we can understand your personal experience.
