I enjoy treating clients of all ages with a variety of mental health concerns. My special areas of interest include grief & loss, geriatric issues, traumatic brain injury, marital and relationship issues, men's issues, depression, and anxiety. I am a llifelong Christian, though interested in other faiths and open to providing faith-based counseling to individuals of varying faith backgrounds. I value diversity and am interested in counseling persons of varying cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. After developing rapport and a safe, trusting relationship with clients, I help them to explore and maximize their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs and resources. I believe in person-centered, asset-based, cognitive behavioral therapy, exploring the internal and external resources and strengths of each individual, couple, or family.
