About
Born for the Tobacco People (Natoh Dine’e) and to the Ute Clan (Nooda’i Dine’e), I am Dine (Navajo) from Fruitland, NM. After 10 years in the school setting with the last 4 as a school counselor, I began my transition outside the schools as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in undoing negative thought processes through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy specifically in the areas of trauma, mood disorders, grief/loss, anxiety, and depression. I believe in combining mindfulness, physical awareness, active/deep listening, and creative problem-solving. View 6 Photos I am person-centered and solution-focused, meeting each client where they are. I emphasize the relationship between counselor and client. I believe if the client is motivated to make a change in how one feels, acts, thinks, or all three, then true change can happen.
