Therapy can be such a positive tool for anyone to use to address troubling thoughts, feelings and behaviors, receive empathetic feedback, and help explore alternative perspectives. These efforts can help improve feelings towards self and others, functioning at work or with our families, and finding feelings of peace in a tumultuous world. Furthermore, through a trauma-focused and decolonization lens, we will explore how systems (capitalism, racism, sexism, education, justice, etc.) have shaped and impacted our lives, and what we can do to find balance within these systems.
