We all hold beliefs about who we are--some of those beliefs are positive and motivate us to do what we need to and want to, but some are negative and prevent us from living the life we want. Sometimes we know what those negative beliefs are; we are very familiar with them and feel like we can’t escape them. Other times we aren’t quite sure why we keep finding ourselves doing the same hurtful actions over and over again.
