Hey there! I'm Jenn - a calm, compassionate, creative and dedicated child life specialist and child counselor who supports children and adolescents through life's challenges. I help children and teens navigate medical experiences, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. Child life is a field that focuses on the emotional, social and developmental needs of children and families during medical and healthcare experiences. Child- and family-centered care is at the heart of everything I do. I combine evidence-based coping strategies with creativity, play, emotional safety and compassion—meeting each child exactly where they are. My goal is to reduce fear, build resilience, and empower families throughout their journey. I am here to provide interventions through both therapeutic and medical play, age-appropriate education and to offer the language to caregivers who are navigating hard situations and conversations with their children.
