I keep a strong tie to my Latinx heritage. I am a native Spanish-speaker and I am passionate about serving the Spanish-speaking and Latinx community. I work best with clients who are facing depression, anxiety, esteem issues, intergenerational cultural conflict, mood dysregulation, and life transitions. I help clients develop effective communication, set boundaries, devise a toolkit of coping skills, and build a life worth living. I enjoy working with all diverse populations that face unique challenges in life. I am also able to provide immigration evaluations. I believe that humor and lightheartedness have a vital place in therapy. I take a Person-Centered and Humanistic approach in therapy. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based approaches.
