About
I have had a passion for helping people that started very early, from volunteering with Special Olympics to supporting fundraising efforts for Big Brother Big Sisters. My academic journey started at Purdue University where I studied Civil Engineering. As many people do, I experienced a significant life challenge and decided to change my career path. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Communication and quickly began my work in the social services profession as a case manager & HIV/AIDS prevention coordinator at a residential treatment facility for adolescents with behavioral issues.
