About

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in providing individual therapy with a focus on childhood trauma and its resulting issues, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety. Childhood trauma can be anything from difficult relationships with caregivers, to domestic violence, to physical and sexual abuse. Some symptoms of trauma may include low self esteem, codependency issues, insomnia, phobias, and lack of adequate coping skills. I also have experience working with life transitions and stressors, grief and bereavement, and I embrace working with spirituality and meaning of life issues. I have a holistic treatment model and aim to get to the root of client's issues. I believe real healing is possible and have various skills and modalities which target all aspects necessary for complete healing: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and trained in EMDR, an evidence-based treatment for resolving trauma.
