Therapy shouldn't have to be complicated or intimidating. What is most crucial-perhaps even more important than credentials or education-is that you feel comfortable with your therapist. I'm a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and have over 20 years experience working with individuals, couples, and adolescents. My approach is down-to-earth and pragmatic. What works for one person may not work for another, so I try to personalize treatment that is most helpful for every client. My style is interactive, direct, and supportive. I focus on the here-and-now but recognize that one's past impacts choices, feelings, and behaviors in the present.
