When you’ve lived through trauma—especially from a young age—it can shape how you think, feel, and interact with the world in ways that are hard to explain. I’ve spent years supporting people through crisis, starting in emergency medicine as an EMT, firefighter, and rescue worker. That experience showed me how deeply trauma affects us, and led me to pursue my MMFT from Adler Graduate School in 2009, with a specialization in Art Therapy.
