Most of my clients find me through word-of-mouth referrals. For 26 years, I have provided psychotherapy to individuals (15+), couples and families. I am compassionate, encouraging, and direct, offering a realistic approach to therapy. My style creates a safe space where people feel free to be vulnerable without fear of judgment. Actively engaged in each session, I weave honesty with moments of humor, making the work feel lighter while supporting real and lasting change. My approach is a blend of treatment modalities stemming from psychodynamic, attachment, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and neurobiological frameworks. I work with clients as equals to best support desired individual and relational goals. My special areas of interest and expertise include: management of life transitions, relationships, family of origin issues, parenting (including blended families), self-worth and shame, grief and loss, sexual and emotional intimacy, and living with intention and meaning.
