My ideal clients will be individuals and couples open to receiving guidance, support, validation, compassion, and empathy. They will leave sessions feeling relieved, no longer alone with overwhelming thoughts and feelings. They will benefit from a strong sense of my warm and nonjudgmental presence. They will appreciate a therapist that does not simply sit back and listen and nod, but rather one actively listens and participates in the conversation. My ideal clients are excited to walk out of session with a much better understanding of themselves and how to process their emotions, and heal their childhood trauma. I specialize in helping individuals who experienced childhood emotional and physical neglect, as well as abuse. These individuals often then struggle in adult relationships. I practice from two primary modalities (EFT and AEDP) that help my clients better understand their emotional worlds, process/ heal trauma and shift ineffective communication patterns.
