I am passionate about helping others and enjoy helping them navigate through their daily life challenges no matter how serious they may seem. I work to create a comfortable atmosphere where clients can feel safe to process their emotions and work together with them to develop new and healthy coping skills to accomplish whatever goals they may have. I utilize treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Modification as well as Theraplay Principals. I have been working in mental health for the past 15 years and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 12 years. I have worked in all levels of treatment as a mental health worker, case manager, and therapist and have experience working in inpatient, day treatment, community, outpatient, and school-based settings.
