My professional career spans over 25 years of working in the Denver metro area’s community mental health system helping Denverites cope with a range of diagnoses and severities. During that time, I have focused on helping people cope with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addictions. I received my master’s degree in counseling from Adams State University, and my undergraduate in social work from Phillips University. I use the framework of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to guide discussions to help rethink our situations, challenges, maladaptive beliefs, and move forward with valued actions.
