Welcome. I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience. I strive to offer an empathic, eclectic, and practical approach in my work, and one where we collaborate to address the issues and goals that YOU identify. Whether you're facing life transitions, loss, or long-standing mental health challenges, therapy will help you achieve your capacity for growth, change, and self-awareness. We will identify any patterns that may be preventing you from moving forward effectively. I was a senior clinician for 25 years at NY Presbyterian Hospital and have formal training in CBT, DBT, as well as psychodynamic treatment. I offer evidence-based strategies with a trauma-informed perspective, specializing in men's issues, mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADD/ADHD, divorce, life transitions, and grief/loss. I work to foster safety, collaboration and respect, as you identify your strengths and develop the skills for a more fulfilling life, while gaining the gift of insight.
