Welcome! I am a firm believer that the quality of the therapist-client relationship promotes client progress and growth. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents, utilizing play therapy techniques to foster relationships and emotional regulation. I also have experience in helping first responders and their family members navigate through stressful, traumatic, and relational issues. With over a decade's experience as a police detective helping trauma victims, I bring an abundance of real-world knowledge to my counseling practice. I embrace a holistic, person-centered approach and incorporate techniques from solution-focused brief therapy and CBT. To further advance my skills, I am working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
