Welcome! Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I have to be honest, I don’t like writing these “therapist bios” because it is so difficult to accurately describe the therapeutic process and it often sounds cheesy but here goes my best attempt. I have over 10 years of experience providing counseling services to college students, young adults and members of the LGBTQ+ communities. I have specialized training in trauma informed care, internal family systems and addiction focused treatment. My approach is flexible, person centered, I use humor and I am adaptable to the needs of each individual I work with. My approach to therapy is authentic, compassionate and direct. I am a real person in the room and I am flexible and adaptable to the needs of my clients. I also have training and certifications in a variety of techniques including Interpersonal Process, Trauma Focused Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
