I believe our minds and bodies are naturally inclined toward healing and I know that healing happens best when we feel seen and supported. As a counselor and art therapist I bring my passion for this work and years of experience to address the emotional pain, anxiety, confusion and loneliness that so many of us feel. I focus on building strong relationships with my clients to facilitate the growth and change they desire in their lives. I enjoy working with individuals who are curious about their inner selves and eager to explore the patterns, relationships, thoughts and feelings that may not be working for them. My approach is strength based, person-centered and rooted in psychodynamic principles. I integrate mindfulness, self compassion practices, EMDR and IFS . For some clients, I have found that art therapy can be particularly effective for expressing complex emotions and enhancing self-awareness—no previous art experience necessary to engage in this modality.
